IE 6 No More!
August 10th, 2009
There comes a time in every website’s life when he or she must move on.
Move on from the ancient, dark and deprecated corner of the internet: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
Starting today, and inspired by IE6 No More, if you are using IE 6 or below to browse Kallow, you will get a nice and helpful suggestion to upgrade your browser to something more… friendly.
Why not upgrade now? Try the latest version of Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.5, Google Chrome, or Safari.
We love all of these browsers, and we think you’ll love them too. Your Kallow experience will be even better. We promise.

We’re pretty excited about this neat improvement, and we hope it will make your hunt for the perfect gadget even easier!

Did you change your hair?
Are those new glasses?
No, silly, the blog has a brand spankin’ new design! The look and feel of the blog is now consistent with the rest of Kallow. Hip, hip, hooray!
We are glad that the blog is now a full member of the Kallow family, and not the awkward step-child. We are proud of our blog and can’t wait to share more of our thoughts, suggestions, and cool announcements with all of you! Thanks and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, too!

Hope you all are having a great day. Just wanted to give you a heads up that Kallow is now on Twitter, which is a very cool social messaging / micro-blogging website. We just see Twitter as another way to help people find good, solid products.
If you are not yet on Twitter, why not? Join up, and follow us. We can be friends!

Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting Kallow. Please, tell a friend, a neighbor, your parents, your grandparents, and your imaginary friend because it will make a difference. We grow one user at a time.

Welcome to the Kallow Blog
December 4th, 2008
Hello! This is our blog, where we will share our thoughts about electronics, new products we like, and updates we make to Kallow.com. We hope to keep you informed and even entertained.
We started Kallow because we have family and friends who care about what technology can do for them, not what they have to do for technology. We saw so many of our friends spend days researching their next camera, TV, computer, or other gadget online with little success. Or instead, they sucked it up and visited a big box electronics store, often ending up overwhelmed with the selection and underwhelmed with the staff. Either way, the process is perpetually confusing and frustrating for them. We wanted to make shopping simple for everyone.
We love technology, we love reading about it, we love playing with new toys, we love debating which new LCD is the best. We do the heavy lifting. We do the research, we compare each model, we balance performance, ease of use and price for you. We pick products that we find to be the best value. We cut through the crap. These are the products that we would recommend to our family and friends if they asked, ‘What digital camera should I buy?’ or ‘We are thinking of getting a new HDTV. Which one should be get?’
We hope Kallow makes your life a little bit simpler, because buying electronics shouldn’t be complex. Please talk to us, leave comments and send us notes, because we love hearing from you! Tell us a story about your last frustrating electronic purchasing experience, or ideas you have for Kallow, or products you would like to see us review.
Jordan & Caleb
